Scandvic Enterprises, Inc. is a woman/minority owned mechanical insulation contractor. Nestled in the foothills of the Rockies in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, we have over 100 years combined experience in the mechanical insulation industry. We work as a subcontractor and directly with building owners.

We are members of the National Insulation Association, the Midwest Insulation Contractors Association and the Colorado Wyoming Insulation & Abatement Contractors Association.

Mike Scandrett, executive vice president, was recently certified as an Insulation Energy Appraiser by the National Insulation Association. In order to achieve this certification, he met specific industry requirements, attended a rigorous 2-day training program and passed the certification exam. He is now qualified to use sophisticated software to evaluate the thermal performance of insulated and/or uninsulated piping and equipment in a given facility. Reliable for our on time completion, quality work and competitive pricing, we are versatile with experience in cryogenic systems, industrial and CO generation facilities, including power plants, refineries, and methane recovery plants. We take on commercial projects of any size including medical centers, arenas, building remodel, and schools.

We are familiar with chemical contamination and full containment work on Super Fund sites, including the railway tie plant in Laramie, Wyoming, the Army depot in Anniston, Alabama, Rocky Flats, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, and the Pueblo Army Depot in Colorado.

As a specialty item, we produce, supply and install removable reusable insulation pads for both chilled and heating systems.

We are a distributor of heavy density inserts and shields for piping support systems manufactured by Value Engineered Products.

Because of the strong military presence in this region, we have Department of Defense clearance and are able to work on government installation nationwide. We excel in the application of the Corps of Engineers specifications.

Our specialty is high tech facilities requiring clean room protocol and compressed scheduling. Customers include Agilent Technologies, Vitesse, Atmel, LSI Logic and Intel.
